Kings Blank Nephi, Velasco Winner Friday, April 17th , 2048 Victor Velasco kept the Nephi Threshers hitters from doing much damage at Threshers Ballpark. Nephi could only muster 5 hits and draw 2 walks against the left-handed Velasco, who controlled them throughout the game. Kansas City won the contest, 6-0. Velasco added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Velasco told reporters after the shutout win.
