Gibbons Stretches Hit String to 20 Wednesday, April 29th , 2048 The Phoenix Palisades fell to the LetterKenny Irish in Irish Stadium, even as 25-year-old second baseman Kyle Gibbons upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Gibbons finished with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Palisades from dropping the 5-3 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Gibbons. Kyle Gibbons flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
