Jarman Rocks River Sharks for 3 HRs Thursday, August 15th , 2041 Fans are still buzzing after Ho Chi Minh City whipped the Rochester River Sharks by the score of 9-3 today at Ballpark of Rochester. Cody Jarman smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Jarman said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Jarman said. "Three is just... wow." Cody Jarman walked in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Joel Henry in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Josh Brodzik in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Evan Tirrell in the 8th. Thus far this season Jarman has hit .239 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 20 times. |
