Portland-Philadelphia Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, July 5th , 2047 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Portland-Philadelphia contest at Walker Stadium. The Pickles John Huizar and the Avalanche Eddie Lomeli will have to sit out 5 and 10 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Huizar is batting at a .327 pace this season, picking up 64 hits in 196 at-bats with 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 23 runs scored. To date this season, Lomeli has a record of no wins and 1 loss and a 7.07 ERA. He has appeared in 9 games and struck out 10 in 14 innings. |
