League Punishes Pair for Fighting Saturday, July 2nd , 2050 Vicente Hernandez of the Memphis BBQ and Gordon Krajancic of the Kinsale Fisherman will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent BBQ-Fisherman game at Blue Raiders Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Hernandez and Krajancic will begin serving them soon. Thus far this year, Hernandez is batting .281 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 18 runs scored. On the year, Krajancic has worked 78.2 innings with 60 strikeouts en route to a 5-0 record and 2.86 ERA. |
