CBD Triple A Announces Top Starter Thursday, July 1st , 2049 There's no doubt that Avalanche starter Mel Moncada earned his CBD Triple A Pitcher of the Month award. He left absolutely no room for doubt as he mowed his way through the opposition in June. During the month Moncada was 5-0 with a 1.18 ERA. He made 5 starts, tossed 38 innings and had 31 strikeouts.
