Week's #1 Player Honored by CAAA Monday, August 14th , 2051 So far in his young career, Enrique Ortiz has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the CBD Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Phoenix Palisades first baseman hit at a torrid .583 clip as he collected 14 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. To date Ortiz has chalked up a .279 average with 10 home runs, driven in 31 runs and scored 27 times. |
