Toros Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 12th , 2046 Austin Toros manager Harry Dohmen said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. The Toros have made the playoffs 8 times in their 29 years as a CBD Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2040. In the last 10 seasons, the Toros have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
