Sandoval Goes 5-for-6 Tuesday, July 12th , 2050 Nephi first baseman Roberto Sandoval had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the LetterKenny Irish at Irish Stadium as the Threshers picked up a win, 16-3. "He was patient up there," Nephi skipper Pedro Martinez told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Sandoval has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Roberto Sandoval singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Johnny Manzano in the 5th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
