But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Threshers, as they fell, 6-4, to the Phoenix Palisades. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Phoenix manager Tim Unger said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Ezequiel Cruz singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Cruz is hitting .325 this year with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .395, 35 walks and scored 58 times. |
