Salvino Bashes 5 Base Hits Thursday, September 3rd , 2048 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Josh Salvino -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Irish Stadium and paced the 11-2 Irish win over the Reno Copper Kings. After his dynamite batting performance, the LetterKenny shortstop told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Josh Salvino singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.
