Threshers Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 20th , 2048 Nephi Threshers starting pitcher David Henry said his team's effort to get into the playoffs fell "heartbreakingly short." But that's the situation they are faced with, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Before this season, the Threshers last missed the playoffs in 2046. In the 31 years they have been a CBD Triple A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 17 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Threshers have made the playoffs 6 times.
