Rendahl Bashes 5 Base Hits Monday, September 21st , 2048 The Kinsale Fisherman stopped the Austin Toros by a score of 12-3 at Blue Raiders Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to second baseman Bob Rendahl. The 23-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Rendahl said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Rendahl did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Toros. "Not much that I can say," offered Austin manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us." Bob Rendahl singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
