Pickles Heading to Round 2 Saturday, September 26th , 2048 A 3-0 triumph at Walker Stadium has wrapped up the Round 1 for the Portland Pickles. "We're off to the Round 2," said Pickles left fielder Sam Gleghorn, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Rochester River Sharks by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said. The Portland Pickles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Kansas City Kings - Flint Coney Dogs series. Kansas City leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
