Kings Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Tuesday, September 29th , 2048 A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Kansas City Kings outlasting the Flint Coney Dogs to advance to the Round 2. Kansas City won the final game by a score of 4-2 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Kansas City right fielder Josh Bolton, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Bolton hit .300 with a .364 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Kansas City Kings will play against the Portland Pickles in the next round.
