Nephi Moves on to Round 2 Sunday, September 26th , 2049 John Jones said his Nephi Threshers simply weren't ready for the season to come to an end. "We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what," he said, shortly after being named the Round 1 MVP, following a 8-0 win at Phoenix Ballpark that officially eliminated the Phoenix Palisades, 4-1. Jones said his team is "confident and ready" for the Round 2. The Nephi Threshers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Eugene Exploding Whales - Portland Pickles series. Eugene leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
