Kinsale Wins Round 1 Tuesday, September 28th , 2049 Jeff Rager wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Round 1 MVP. The star's Kinsale Fisherman defeated the Thousand Oaks Rabbits by a series score of 4-2 to advance to the Round 2. Kinsale won the final game by a 8-4 count in front of a raucous crowd at Spencer Grounds. Rager hit .435 with a .458 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 0 home runs, driving in 1 RBI and scoring 2 runs. "Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Rager. The Kinsale Fisherman don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Sarasota Sweeties - Philadelphia Avalanche series. Sarasota leads the series 3 games to 2.
