Lara Extends Hit Streak to 6 Games Thursday, December 29th , 2050 Juan Lara's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Philadelphia. The 26-year-old right fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 6 games with a 2-for-3 performance against the Pittsburgh Bats. The Spartans won the game, 13-2. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Juan Lara struck out in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, singled in the 4th and doubled in the 6th. Lara is currently hitting .525 with 8 home runsand 21 RBIs, while scoring 37 runs. |
