Indianapolis Halts Kaplan's Hitting Steak Saturday, January 1st , 2050 The 0-game hitting streak is over. Philadelphia Spartans center fielder Aaron Kaplan failed to get a hit against the Indianapolis Green Sox and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 23-year-old went 0-for-3 in his club's 16-1 victory over the Green Sox at Manukau Grounds. "I think I only made it to 0 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." This season in 21 games, Kaplan has hit at a .427 clip with 38 hits, 10 home runs, 36 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
