Saldana Helps Saskatchewan Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Saskatchewan 92's topped the Kyiv Cossacks by the score of 10-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Rich Saldana. Saldana hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the 92's on the day. Getting the save was Satoharu Sato, his 3rd. The loss lowers the Kyiv record to 7-12.

Saldana had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 3-1 curveball from Josh Sheppard, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the 92's a 5-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Saldana.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Saldana. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
