Bencomo Homers 3 Times, Leads Sudbury to 6-1 Win
Good production from left fielder Albert Bencomo helped the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs topple the Dublin Porters, 6-1. Bencomo hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for the Blueberry Bulldogs. Sudbury pitcher Luis Espinoza got the win. He's now 10-6. Juan Gonzalez was tagged with the loss. Danny Dudley, credited with the save, is now 1 for 3 in save opportunities.

With Sudbury leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Bencomo hit a fastball from Juan Gonzalez for a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 4-0.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Bencomo.

Today's win puts Sudbury at 44-46, while Dublin falls to 47-43.
