Knights Improve to 30-10 with 9-0 Win
|
The Brooklyn Knights topped the Los Angeles Kings, 9-0, with right fielder Setsujiro Takahashi playing a big role. Takahashi went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Knights in the win. Mike Rodriguez got the win, improving to 5-1. He held the Kings to no runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Brooklyn has an impressive 30-10 record.
Willie Fernandez helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Knights.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.
