Aztecs Finish Off Hyenas in 12

The San Antonio Aztecs downed the East Haddam Hyenas, 5-2, at Ballpark of East Haddam. The Aztecs were led by Jesse McInerney. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. San Antonio reliever Chris Nelson was the winner. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Ricky Romero. San Antonio is in second place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division with a record of 18-28.
In the top of the 12th, McInerney hit a 3-run home run to put his team on top. The Aztecs would go on to win the game.
"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said McInerney.
