Archies Dodson Tames Omaha
|
The Omaha Aces were almost helpless today in their 5-0 loss to the St. Louis Archies and hurler Adam Dodson. Dodson kept the Aces confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout.
"Tip your hat to Dodson," Omaha manager Evan Brown said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."
The 31-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 10 strikeouts in a strong performance.
"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Dodson said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
