Aztecs Drop 5-2 Decision
|
The Detroit Pizzas beat the San Antonio Aztecs, 5-2, at Pizzas Ballpark. The Pizzas got a fine performance from catcher Bill Kendall, who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Russ Watson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. Jose Giminez, credited with the save, is now 7 for 8 in save opportunities.
