Daniel Pratley was a major factor in the 8-6 Osaka win over St. Louis. The Takoyaki third baseman went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Mark Foglesong, who finished 3rd in the FL in strikeouts with 233 in 2048, was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Chris Moore. Daniel Forsyth got the save, the 3rd for him this season.

Tyler Almond had a big 3-run home run for the Takoyaki in the bottom of the first inning. With Osaka leading 4-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a changeup from Chris Moore, the 8th overall pick in the 2047 draft, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Takoyaki on top, 7-1.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Pratley.

Osaka, now 5-8, is off to a slow start.
