Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Kyiv Cossacks and Dublin Porters.

Adam Dodson, who finished 5th in the FL in ERA with 2.76 in 2041, had a strong outing for the Kyiv Cossacks against the Dublin Porters at Kyiv Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Dublin, at 4-10, is off to a poor start in 2049.

The Cossacks got a big hit from catcher Jimmy Rommel. Facing Dublin pitcher Jason Hendsbee in the bottom of the sixth, Rommel pounded a bases-clearing double to left-center. His 4th double of the season put the Cossacks ahead, 4-0.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Rommel.
