The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs powered past the Memphis Chicks, 11-1, at Bulldogs Ballpark. Chris Edwards provided some of the pop. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Danny Dudley went 7.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits. The right-hander, who finished 3rd in the FL in wins with 17 last year, struck out 5 and walked 1. With the win, he's now 2-1 this season. Picking up his 2nd save was fan favorite Brett Richardson.

The Blueberry Bulldogs got a big hit from catcher Adrian Silvester. Facing Memphis pitcher Chad Shuff in the bottom of the eighth, Silvester pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 11-1.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Edwards told the Sudbury Daily News.

The Chicks drop to 4-9.
