Porters Absorb 7-5 Home Loss
Though he had a terrific game, Ben Crepps could not prevent his team, the Dublin Porters, from absorbing a loss. Arizona won the game, 7-5. Crepps went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Ivan Chavez, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Andy Buhrke earned the save, his 2nd, for the Desert Storm.

In the top of the 5th, Arizona took the lead on a 2-run single by Justin Trovato. At the time, the Desert Storm were trailing 2-1, but Trovato's hit with two outs against Dublin pitcher Adam D'Amonte put them in front, 3-2.

"Winning never gets dull," said Trovato.

Arizona is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 5th win in 15 games.
