Buffalo Topples Brooklyn, 5-1
|
Buffalo Buffalo starter Andy Pittman turned in an exceptional performance against the Brooklyn Knights at The Greenhouse, resulting in a Buffalo win, 5-1. Buffalo is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 17 games.
The Buffalo got a big at-bat from center fielder Jordan Acosta. For the game, Acosta went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Buffalo a 3-1 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Acosta said after the game.
