San Antonio Aztecs starter Ramon Jacquez pitched a good game to help his team take down the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 6-1. Jacquez got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 8 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Tim Ocampo got credit for the save for San Antonio. It was his 6th of the year.

The Aztecs got a big hit from shortstop Andres Jaquez. Facing Sudbury pitcher Siu-chung Chieu in the top of the sixth, Jaquez pounded a 2-run double to center. His 6th double of the season put the Aztecs ahead, 4-0.

Said losing manager Lord Parquad: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."

The Aztecs keep rolling, raising their record to 14-4.
