Dublin Wins, 2-1, Over Knights
|
In a low-scoring contest, Dublin pitcher Jason Hendsbee was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. Dublin reliever Trenton Peterson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Sam Mooney was saddled with the loss. The win takes Dublin to 12-7.
Jesse Oswald was the walk-off hero for Dublin. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Porters center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Exhilarating win," said Hendsbee.
