The St. Louis Archies trumped the Buffalo Buffalo, 18-1, at Team2 Ballpark. St. Louis third baseman Adrian Ressler was terrific. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 8. Mike Ricketts got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 7.2 innings. The defeat makes Buffalo 8-11.

With St. Louis leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Ressler hit a 2-run single off Buffalo hurler Roberto Morales. It was the 20th hit of the season for Ressler and put his team ahead, 4-1.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Ressler. "It sure beats the alternative."
