Pizzas Get Thrilling 2-1 Win
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs wasted an inspired, 7-inning effort from starter George Wilson, falling, 2-1, to the Detroit Pizzas in 10 innings at Pizzas Ballpark. Detroit reliever Jose Bautista got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Eric Barone was tagged with the loss. The win puts Detroit at 10-9.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Adams in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Eric Barone to win the game for Detroit. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was juiced," said Adams.
