Blueberry Bulldogs Improve to 11-9 with 12-1 Win
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs defeated the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 12-1, at Bulldogs Ballpark. Sudbury left fielder Albert Bencomo had a superb performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was George Wilson. He's now 2-0. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits for the Blueberry Bulldogs. Yellowstone, with the loss, is 10-9.

Joe Seelye had a big 2-run home run for the Blueberry Bulldogs in the bottom of the second inning. With Sudbury leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Jim Davis, who finished 4th in the AL in ERA with 3.07 last year, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Blueberry Bulldogs on top, 4-0.
