The East Haddam Hyenas got a sterling performance from pitcher Justin Madsen, but the Yellowstone Super Volcano still prevailed, 3-2. Madsen threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The defeat makes East Haddam 14-8.

Yellowstone took a 3-2 lead on Victor Rodriquez's 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rodriquez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left East Haddam pitcher Justin Madsen visibly frustrated.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Rodriquez. "And not try to do too much."
