Yellowstone Slaps 5-2 Loss on East Haddam
Yellowstone picked up a win at Volcano Ballpark, bumping off the East Haddam Hyenas, 5-2. Pitcher John Griese was a major reason the Super Volcano emerged victorious. Griese picked up the win for Yellowstone, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. With the loss, East Haddam falls to 14-9.

Josh Gingerich dealt the Hyenas a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Yellowstone leading 1-0, Gingerich, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in bases on balls with 12, hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said East Haddam manager Joe Jankowski.
