Arocha K's 11 En Route to 7-1 Red Storm Win
|
Lansing got a strong outing from Richard Arocha as the Red Storm defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 7-1, at Ballpark of Atlanta. The Kings are now 8-15.
Arocha, who dominated for Lansing, earned the victory to move to 2-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 11. Los Angeles batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Richard did what Richard does," said Lansing manager Jim Nerji.
