The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Josh Deere into a win. Instead, the Arizona Desert Storm prevailed, 5-2. Deere slugged 2 home runs. The save went to Terry Donohue, number 9 for him. The loss drops Sudbury to 12-12.

The Desert Storm got a big at-bat from first baseman Won-shik Im. For the game, Im was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Arizona a 3-1 lead.

"Feels good to get the job done," Im said after the game.
