Dublin Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Macias
The Arizona Desert Storm spoiled a good performance by Dublin right fielder Gabriel Macias, bumping off Dublin, 8-7, at Desert Storm Stadium. Macias went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Arizona reliever Terry Donohue picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Adam Dodson was tagged with the loss. Dublin is 13-11 after the defeat.

Luke Binkley, who is a two-time All-Star, came through for Arizona with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 runs batted in.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Binkley, "but we got it done."
