Buffalo Lose to Kings, 2-0

Starting pitcher Steve Wilkerson gave the Los Angeles Kings a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Buffalo Buffalo, 2-0, at The Greenhouse. Dave Reed finished to wrap up his 1st save. The loss has the Buffalo at 14-13.
Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Lugh Hughes to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Kings on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Wilkerson told the Los Angeles Citizen.
