Red Storm Need Extra Innings to Top Porters, 8-2
The Lansing Red Storm picked up a win at Porters Ballpark, taking down the Dublin Porters, 8-2, in 11 innings. On the mound for Lansing was right-hander Vicente Tejeda. He played a central role in the triumph. The Red Storm sport a record of 32-51.

Lansing used the timely hitting of Kiyotake Yoshihara to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Red Storm on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Tejeda.
