Arizona pitcher and Nashville, Tennessee, native Josh Kern had an outstanding performance. The winning pitcher was Kern, now 6-4. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. Terry Donohue nailed down his 22nd save.
