The Dublin Porters beat the Kyiv Cossacks, 5-4, at Porters Ballpark. Dave Sullivan, who is tied for 9th in the FL in triples with 2, starred for Dublin. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dublin reliever Chris Gills was the winner. His record is now 5-1. Evan King took the loss. The Cossacks have now dropped 5 straight.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Sullivan hit a sinker from Evan King for a run-scoring single. The Porters, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Sullivan.
