Herrera Lifts Kings to 9-4 Triumph
|
Gabe Herrera helped his team muscle past the Portland Beavers, 9-4. In the game, the Los Angeles catcher hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Dave Reed, 4-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. The save was credited to Robert Martinez, his 1st.
Dominique Petrocelli had a big 2-run home run for the Kings in the top of the fourth inning.
