Gilson Leads Hanoi Past Detroit
|
Hanoi registered a win at The Nest by beating the Detroit Pizzas, 3-0. Pitcher Jon Gilson was one reason why the Dragon Warriors triumphed. Getting the save was Noah Powell, his 25th. Today's win puts Hanoi at 49-41, while Detroit falls to 46-43.
Gilson, the Hanoi right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. He collected 8 strikeouts.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Gilson.
