St. Louis Loss Takes Shine Off Sims Performance
The Buffalo Buffalo weathered an outstanding game by St. Louis left fielder Dan Sims to topple the Archies, 7-5. Sims was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Glenn DePue, the winner, improved to 3-5. He held St. Louis to 4 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Ian Lee notched his 1st save in 1 chances.

Buffalo used the hitting of Brian Nadeau to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Buffalo on top, 7-2. For the game, Nadeau had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
