In a low-scoring affair between the Dublin Porters and the Buffalo Buffalo, pitcher Andy Pittman was the difference between victory and defeat. The Dublin left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Porters win. With the win, Dublin raised its record to 20-13.

Gabriel Macias had a big run-scoring double for the Porters in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Dublin leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Glenn DePue, who is tied for 8th in the AL with a 9.7 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Porters ahead, 3-1.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Pittman.
