The Detroit Pizzas defeated the Brooklyn Knights, 6-5, at Pizzas Ballpark. Detroit was led by 2048 Most Valuable Player Award winner Jose Caravaggio, who went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Detroit improves to 65-42 with the win. They lead their division by 4½ games.

Caravaggio contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Detroit get the win.
