Collins Gets Win in Brooklyn Rout
|
Brooklyn starter Brian Collins clamped down on the San Antonio offense, while his team sailed to victory, 11-1. The Knights are now 73-36, while the Aztecs fall to 36-73.
Collins, the winner, is now 9-5. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 3 hits, while collecting 5 Ks. He essentially shut down the San Antonio offense.
Knights manager Enoch Tang had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
