|
The St. Louis Archies downed the Lansing Red Storm, 10-7, at Ballpark of Atlanta. Jordan Acosta led the way, going 5-for-6 for St. Louis. St. Louis pitcher Gabriel Fragoso got the win. He's now 5-2. Tyler Tortorici was tagged with the loss. Jason Derrick got credit for the save for St. Louis. It was his 28th of the year.
Pat Hamilton went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for St. Louis. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tyler Tortorici. It was his 67th walk of the season.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hamilton told the St. Louis Observer.
